  • Yaquinto, Giulio

    Pirkey Barber | Attorney

    Giulio Yaquinto practices trademark, copyright, and unfair competition law. He represents clients in federal courts across the country and at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He also devotes a significant portion of his practice to policing infringements and developing enforcement strategies. Giulio has experience in all stages of litigation, from the filing of pleadings through trial and appeal. He regularly authors winning briefs in federal district courts, and recently obtained a reversal for a client in a published decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He has also obtained favorable judgements for clients in proceedings at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and domain-name disputes at the National Arbitration Forum. In addition to litigation, Giulio advises clients on strategies to enforce their rights without resorting to a lawsuit, particularly in the online context.

Outside of work, Judy enjoys spending time with her family or in the gym as a founding member of Seattle’s first competitive adult gymnastics team.

    Laurie Young is an intellectual property attorney with Schwegman, Lundberg and Woessner. Before joining SLW, she was Senior Intellectual Property Counsel Katun Corporation. While at Katun she managed all intellectual property matters, both domestic and foreign. This included managing patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret matters and any business matters which may relate to intellectual property. Laurie was also Data Privacy Officer for Katun Corporation. When Laurie is not handing intellectual property matters, she loves to bake cookies (even placing at the Minnesota State Fair three times for her cookie entries).
