Rios, Roberto

A registered Patent Agent with the USPTO and has over 23 years of experience in the area of patents, including been a former Patent Examiner for the USPTO. He collaborates as an expert consultant through seminars and training workshops for professionals in Latin America with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO), and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), among others. He is the director of the patent area and coordinator of international services for Puerto Rico and the United States at the law firm Hoglund & Pamias, PSC and is the current President of the Patent Committee at ASIPI. -
Ritchie, Lorelei

Professor Ritchie joined the faculty at the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law as the Grosscurth Chair in Intellectual Property and Professor of Law in 2024. She is an expert in intellectual property and commercial law. Professor Ritchie has a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a juris doctor from Columbia University School of Law. She has taught at law schools around the country including, most recently, the University of Florida. She also previously served as a judge at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (Trademark Trial and Appeal Board). -
Ritscher, Michael

Michael Ritscher studied at the University of Zurich and received his PhD, then passed the bar exam, completed an LL.M. at Georgetown University and, after research stays at Stanford University and the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich, founded the intellectual property team of the Swiss law firm MLL Legal AG, which he has headed ever since. As a former lecturer at the ETH Zurich and at the University of Lucerne and as acting president of the INGRES Swiss Institute for the Protection of Intellectual Property, Michael Ritscher has, in addition to his work as an attorney and arbitrator in national and international disputes and as special judge at the Zurich Court of Commerce, also dealt scientifically with trademark law and all other areas of intellectual property law. -
