Petti, Phillip T.

Phil Petti is the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel for the USG Corporation, a member of the Knauf Group, an international leader in residential and commercial building systems.  Based at USG's headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, Phil is responsible for USG’s worldwide intellectual property portfolio, licensing, IP litigation, and trade secret protection.  This includes protection of USG’s well known SHEETROCK,^® DUROCK^® and other leading building products and technologies.  Before joining USG in 2008, Phil was a Senior Partner with Fitch, Even, Tabin and Flannery, in Chicago and was in private practice for 23 years.  Phil has been an active leader in AIPLA, serving on the Board Of Directors and in committee leadership positions.  Phil is currently a member of the Legislation Committee.
