Matt Reed is a partner in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on technology-driven international and domestic arbitration, as well as intellectual property litigation. Drawing on a background in chemical engineering, he has successfully litigated cases across a wide range of industries, including generic pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and semiconductor processing and packaging. Professor Reilly is a Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Intellectual Property Law Program at Illinois Tech Chicago-Kent College of Law, where his research and teaching focus on the intersection of patent law and federal courts, with particular emphasis on how institutions and decision makers resolve patent disputes. He graduated from Harvard Law School and clerked for Judge Timothy B. Dyk of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit before spending five years litigating patent cases at Morrison & Foerster LLP. His scholarship has been published in the Boston University, Southern California, Washington University, and Notre Dame law reviews, among others. -

After qualifying to practice law in Germany in 1996, he worked as a legal adviser for the International Labour Organization in Geneva. -

Michael Ritscher studied at the University of Zurich and received his PhD, then passed the bar exam, completed an LL.M. at Georgetown University and, after research stays at Stanford University and the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich, founded the intellectual property team of the Swiss law firm MLL Legal AG, which he has headed ever since. As a former lecturer at the ETH Zurich and at the University of Lucerne and as acting president of the INGRES Swiss Institute for the Protection of Intellectual Property, Michael Ritscher has, in addition to his work as an attorney and arbitrator in national and international disputes and as special judge at the Zurich Court of Commerce, also dealt scientifically with trademark law and all other areas of intellectual property law. -
