Bin Zheng has master degrees in both molecular biology and intellectually property law. He joined Unitalen in 2007 and is now heading the life science team of Unitalen. Bin focuses his practice on patent prosecution, civil & administrative litigation and legal opinion in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food science and cosmetics. Client counseling is another important part of Bin’s work. He works closely with companies as IP counsel, leading the in-house patent team and handling every aspect of patent related matters, including developing and managing patent portfolios globally.

Sommer S. Zimmerman is a member of the Ballard Spahr Patent Group’s Life Sciences team. Her practice focuses on various aspects of patent prosecution, due diligence, and freedom to operate analysis, working primarily with clients in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, chemical, and food and beverage industries.
