FCHS 2022 Spring Lecture
May 10, 2022 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
The Politics of Supreme Court Appointments
presented by Dr. Jonathan Kastellec, Associate Professor of Politics at Princeton University.
Supreme Court nominations and confirmations are now highly contested and politicized affairs, with presidents,
senators, interest groups, the media, and the public all highly invested in both the process and the outcome. This
was not always so. In this lecture Professor Kastellec will describe and explain the broader changes in American
politics that have brought us to this point.
Registration
is now open.
This
is a free online lecture open to the public. To receive a link for
online admission, please send an email request with your full name and
email address to society@federalcircuiths.org no later than Friday, May 6, 2022. For a copy of this announcement, please download the FCHS flyer here.
