Weinstock, Nicholas

NiCK Weinstock is Patent Counsel at Qualcomm, with a focus on Open Source licensing and usage.  Nicholas was a software developer at Qualcomm for ten years before going to law school, and has been in Qualcomm’s Open Source Legal group for over eleven years.  Nicholas has led Qualcomm’s Open Source training program, which continues to keep over twenty five thousand developers up-to-date on Qualcomm’s Open Source policies and procedures.  Nicholas has also worked extensively on defining, implementing, and improving Qualcomm’s review and approval procedures for Open Source usage.
