Tom DeSimone focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation and patent office trials. Tom has represented a number of clients ranging from individual inventors to Fortune 500 companies encompassing a wide spectrum of technologies. Mr. DeSimone has been involved with cases involving video analytics technology, medical devices, graphics processing, and even cooking technology. Mr. DeSimone's cases have exposed him to a wide variety of venues, including the Eastern District of Texas, the Northern District of California, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the International Trade Commission. Mr. DeSimone has also handled a variety of trademark, copyright and trade secret matters.
 
Mr. DeSimone is a monthly contributor to the firm's newsletter that chronicles the latest developments in Hatch-Waxman and ANDA litigation, "Generically Speaking."
 
Additionally, Mr. DeSimone is the Atlanta representative to the Robins Kaplan pro bono committee. In this capacity, Mr. DeSimone has handled a number of pro bono matters, including landlord/tenant disputes, defending victims of domestic violence, and representing at risk minors in truancy prevention hearings.
