IP and Transactions Clinic at Franklin Pierce Center for IP | Clinical Professor

Ed Timberlake currently teaches Trademark Searching in the Hybrid JD program at UNH Law and is a clinical professor and interim director of the Intellectual Property and Transactions Clinic at the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property.

He has experience as a Trademark Examining Attorney at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and a Copyright Examiner at the U.S. Copyright Office, has taught Trademark Law at Campbell University School of Law, and Innovation at Duke University, and has assisted applicants with trademark matters in private practice for over ten years.

Ed is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law, the co-chair of the
Trademark Law Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association Intellectual
Property Law Council, a past member of the Non-Traditional Marks Committee of the
International Trademark Association, and a past co-chair of the Academic Committee
of the International Trademark Association. He is one of fewer than 50 Board
Certified Specialists in Trademark Law in the country and would like nothing more
