I am a Partner at Società Italiana Brevetti  S.p.A.. head of the patent/design department of the Florence Office.

I graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pisa.

My qualifications: Qualified European Patent Attorney (qualified professional representative before the European Patent Office); Italian Patent and Trademark Attorney (qualified professional representative for both patent and trademark matters before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office); Registered Attorney with the EUIPO (Trademarks and Designs).

I have a 25-year experience in patent filing and prosecution in Italy and abroad (in particular EP and PCT procedures), Design Registration procedures in Italy and abroad (in particular, Community Design Registrations and International Registrations under the Hague System).

I have provided technical and legal assistance in off-court and court litigations, in support of a party (CTP) or requested by the Court (CTU), in relation to patents, designs, trademarks and copyright.

I have advised on global IP protection strategies, especially in connection with design protection, and carried out and supervised patent and design searches in on-line data bases.

I have lectured on patent and design matters, and have been a member of the Design Study group of the Italian association of IP consultants (Ordine dei Consulenti in Proprietà industriale).

I am an enthusiast cycling amateur rider, and cycling fan.
