Sofia Santoro is a European and Italian Patent Attorney and a Unified Patent Court Representative, with experience in intellectual property since 2016. Her practice focuses primarily on patent matters in the chemical and pharmaceutical fields, including patent drafting and prosecution, opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, and strategic patent advice.
She has acted also as a court-appointed technical expert in industrial property matters before the Court of Bologna. She is currently Vice Chair of AIPLA’s IP Practice in Europe Committee, where she is actively involved in initiatives concerning developments in European patent law and practice.
