Bob Armitage is a consultant on IP strategy and policy. Mr. Armitage served for a decade as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Eli Lilly & Co. Prior to assuming his general counsel role at Lilly, he had been Lilly’s Vice President and General Patent Counsel and a Partner with Vinson & Elkins, LLP.
Mr. Armitage has served as President of both the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Association of Corporate Patent Counsel, as well as chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Armitage received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
