Richard Kennedy is a European and UK patent attorney, and a partner at Venner Shipley LLP, a full-service IP law firm based in the UK. His technical background is in physics, software development and mathematics; he holds a PhD from Imperial College London and a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College Dublin. In recent years he has developed particular expertise in artificial intelligence and deep learning-based technologies, and he is the lead for the firm’s AI practice group.
