Shannon Reaney is a seasoned patent attorney with more than 20 years of experience advising life sciences companies on intellectual property strategy. She serves as chair of Morrison Foerster’s Patent Strategy + Prosecution practice and co-chair of its Intellectual Property Group, where she counsels pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetics, and agricultural clients on developing and managing global patent portfolios. Her practice spans a wide range of technologies, including therapeutics, pharmaceutical and topical formulations, diagnostics, and nanotechnology, and includes lifecycle management, IP risk assessment, and transactional due diligence.
