Kathleen has experience as a biotechnology IP attorney in the pharmaceutical industry, and has both in-house and law firm experience.  Prior to practicing law, Kathleen started her career as a bench scientist (Molecular biology) including experience at Pfizer Inc.  Kathleen has an Honor’s Biology degree from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.  She has an M.S. in Biology from University of Oregon, and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.  Kathleen was partner at Fitch Even Tabin & Flannery in Chicago.  She spent 4.5 years as in-house counsel at Pfizer.  At Eisai Inc, in the Boston area, Kathleen brought direct, pragmatic solutions to a range of IP / business / technical problems. As an in-house attorney, Kathleen managed outside attorneys and their work product as well. 

 Kathleen has served on multi-functional teams and is effective serving as a team player and as an individual contributor.  

 In her retirement, Kathleen focuses on oncology, corporate ethics, travel, and service work in bar associations, the church and spiritual groups.
