Purohit, Amol

Amol Purohit is an accomplished in-house intellectual property attorney with extensive experience leading IP functions and strategies across various industries. He currently serves as VP for Intellectual Property and Legal Business Development at Recursion Pharmaceuticals, an AI driven tech-bio company, where he manages Recursion's entire IP portfolio across the company's AI platform and clinical assets.  Prior to Recursion, Amol was the Head of Intellectual Property and the first IP attorney at Chime Financial, where he established Chime's IP portfolio in the run up to Chime's IPO.  Additionally, he previously had experience at Lyft as Senior Patent Counsel, managing all patent issues related to Lyft's core rideshare business and contributed to strategic mergers and acquisitions, at Comscore as Head of IP, overseeing a diverse IP portfolio in the data analytics and audience measurement space; and at Under Armour, as Directory of Patents for Under Armour's Digital and Connected Fitness business.  Amol Purohit holds a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
