Drew Patty is a member of McGlinchey Stafford PLLC, where he leads the law firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group and co-leads the firm’s Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice Group. He is a registered U.S. patent attorney with over 26 years of experience in intellectual property law and related litigation, and is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Texas, Louisiana and the District of Columbia, and is Office Managing Member for McGlinchey’s Baton Rouge, LA office.
A graduate of Tulane University and the University of North Carolina School of Law, Drew serves as Chair of the Chemical Patent Practice Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and is a member of the IP Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Honored for his client service by several prominent publications and ranking services, he handles a broad range of transactional intellectual property matters and related litigation. He serves clients in several sectors, including chemical, medical device, health care, oil and gas, energy storage, financial services, manufacturing, hospitality, insurance, and software.
