Noble, Nick

Nick specialises in high-tech patent work and handles large volumes of high value work in the fields of healthcare technology, telecoms & standards, and electronics. His academic background and 20 years’ experience has led to him being recognised as a leading expert in healthcare technology.

He advises his clients on all aspects of patent protection, including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, opposition proceedings, freedom to operate, and infringement and validity opinions and he has particular experience of standards-related patent matters. Nick works as an extension of his clients’ teams and is to them a valued trusted advisor.

Nick also has a keen interest in, and significant experience of, industrial designs and works daily with his clients to ensure the best protection for their industrial designs.

Nick has a wide range of clients – from one man bands to multinational corporations – and is always mindful to provide commercially relevant advice that takes into account his clients’ needs.

Nick is an active intellectual property educator and has lectured for the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, Queen Mary University of London, Bournemouth University, and Imperial College London.
