Mirza, Sarah

Sarah Mirza is a partner in the Intellectual Property & Technology practice at Squire Patton Boggs, where she helps clients build, protect, and monetize patent portfolios in the electronics, software, and technology sectors. She advises clients ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 100 companies on comprehensive patent strategy, enforcement, defensive positioning, freedom-to-operate analysis, and handling post-grant proceedings.  Sarah earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and holds a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is admitted to practice in California and is known for combining technical insight with a pragmatic, client-driven approach to intellectual property. At the AIPLA conference, she looks forward to engaging on the evolving landscape of patent law in AI and software and exploring strategic tools for managing risk and maximizing value in innovation-driven industries.
