Goodwin Procter | Associate

Louis L. Lobel is a Senior Associate in Goodwin’s IP Litigation practice, representing life sciences and technology companies in intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret matters. He also has experience in complex antitrust and business litigation and arbitration, with a particular focus on the life sciences industry. Louis represents a wide variety of companies, ranging from innovators of new classes of drugs, to generic pharmaceutical companies seeking to bring affordable medication to the public, to established hardware companies. Louis is an experienced trial attorney, having tried cases to juries, judges and arbitrators across the country.

At Goodwin, Louis is a member of the Associate Liaison Committee and a regional leader in Goodwin’s Pride group. Louis devotes a significant amount of time to representing pro bono clients in a variety of matters and is starting a Pride-focused pro bono practice.

Louis graduated from Middlebury College in 2009 and University of Texas School of Law in 2015, where he was an Associate Notes Editor of the Texas Law Review and President of OUTLaw.
