Kelly IP, LLP | Partner
Kelu Sullivan is a seasoned intellectual property attorney with Kelly IP, LLP, a trademark and copyright boutique based in Washington, D.C. with nearly two decades of experience in trademark, copyright, and domain name law. Kelu is particularly experienced in the management of global trademark portfolios and providing creative and practical business-focused intellectual property protection, licensing, and enforcement strategies.
Kelu has a particular interest in the intersection of IP law and emerging technologies—including the evolving challenges posed by artificial intelligence. She regularly advises clients on the implications of AI-generated content for copyright law, helping them navigate questions of authorship, ownership, and infringement in an increasingly automated creative landscape.
Since 2018, Kelu has been an adjunct lecturer at the University of Iowa College of Law teaching a course on IP Advocacy.
In her spare time, Kelu enjoys baking, reading, playing video games with her family and taking walks with her rough collie, Packet.
