Clara N. Jiménez is Senior Counsel in Johnson & Johnson’s Litigation Group, where she supports the J&J businesses in all aspects of IP litigation across the globe. Prior to joining J&J, Clara was an attorney with Finnegan, where she counseled clients in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries in all various aspects of IP protection and enforcement, including prosecution, licensing, PTAB proceedings and litigation. Before attending law school, Clara worked as a chemical process engineer.
Clara is an active member, mentor and supporter of efforts to advance diversity, inclusion and promotion in the legal industry, including through the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the local Hispanic Bar Associations in New Jersey and Washington, DC, and the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity (LCLD). Clara devotes time to volunteer and promote access to justice and education for children of underrepresented ethnic and racial minorities through various organizations including CASA Hudson County in New Jersey, Fundación Color y Esperanza, in Colombia, and House of Ruth, in Washington DC.
