Danielle Hoyer McWaters is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. Dani focuses her practice on a wide variety of employment and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, workplace investigations, discrimination lawsuits, and collective bargaining agreement negotiations. Her practice also includes routinely counseling clients in a variety of industries on employment actions, policies, and practices; separation agreements; and compliance with federal and state laws. Before joining the firm, Dani served as a legal extern for the general counsel of a Missouri government entity and assisted on cases involving a variety of commercial law and labor and employment issues.
Dani earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Washington University School of Law where she served as the Washington University Jurisprudence Review notes editor, as a legal practice teaching assistant, and as co-chair of the moot court board. She received her B.S., summa cum laude, from University of Central Florida in secondary English language arts education, with a minor in legal studies.
