W. Ron Gard is a Professor of Practice in the School of Liberal Arts and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Law School at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as an attorney in New York. In addition to teaching at Tulane, he is a non-resident fellow at Stanford Law School. He holds a J.D./PhD from the University of Arizona, where he specialized in the intersection of law, economics, and culture. Over the last twenty years, he has taught law, business, entrepreneurship, communication, academic and legal writing, and literature and film. He is the CEO of a legal tech company, Limited Times, LLC, that specializes in determining the status of works' copyright duration, and he regularly consults for other startup ventures.
