Chris Ritter graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1981 and actively tried cases for almost 15 years. He was an adjunct professor of law at the University of California, Hastings School of Law for 12 years, teaching courses in trial practice and evidence. He has also taught numerous courses for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) and for various state bar associations. He joined The Focal Point as a partner in 1998. In this capacity, he has worked on over 500 cases throughout the country and participated in over 100 mock jury and focus group projects. Clients routinely engage Chris in a wide array of consulting activities including, case theme development, persuasion graphics development, witness preparation, and focus group and mock trial research. He has used this experience to write extensively, including three books for the American Bar Association on persuasion strategy, trial graphics, and trial war room management
