Luis Diego Castro, attorney and Notary Public, is a Partner at Eproint, Chair of the IP Practice in Latin America Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Biotech Cluster (CR Biomed) and a lecturer on intellectual property at Costa Rican and international universities. Luis Diego is an experienced patent prosecutor and litigator. He served as head legal counsel in two landmark Costa Rican patent cases and obtained the country's first injunction against biosimilar sales allegedly infringing a process patent. He has coordinated numerous patent matters across Costa Rica and Central America, often involving complex life sciences and biotechnology disputes.
