Bill Casey is Senior Patent Counsel, Transactions and leads the Research & Academic Partnerships team for the Innovative Medicines business at Johnson & Johnson. In these roles, Bill supports a range of strategic transactions, including licenses, research collaborations, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as a range of R&D discovery and preclinical agreements with universities, non-profits and government research institutions, to secure rights to innovative medicines in support of Johnson & Johnson’s efforts to develop life-changing and life-saving healthcare solutions for patients.  Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a Master of Bioscience from Keck Graduate Institute and a Juris Doctorate from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings).
