Lincoln Bandlow is the founder of the Law Offices of Lincoln Bandlow in Los Angeles.  Lincoln focuses his practice on sophisticated media, First Amendment, intellectual property and other entertainment-related litigation matters. He represents clients in the motion picture, television, publishing, broadcasting, Internet and advertising fields. In addition, Lincoln represents several of the principal underwriters for the media and entertainment industry.  He has tried cases in both state and federal courts for matters involving copyright infringement, defamation, right of publicity, right of privacy, trademark infringement and breach of contract.  A frequent speaker and lecturer on media and intellectual property issues, Lincoln was a visiting professor at the Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California for 25 years, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in Media and Entertainment Law. Lincoln also served as President of the Los Angeles Copyright Society from 2005-2006, was the Co-Chair for the Los Angeles Chapter of the Copyright Society of the USA from 2018 -2020 and is the Chair of the IP Committee for the ABA Forum On Communications Law.  His name is often on the various Los Angeles top lawyer lists, such as Variety Magazine's Legal Impact Report, The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 100 Power Lawyers,” Chambers USA leading Media and Entertainment Litigation attorneys in California, and “Top 50 Entertainment Lawyers” by the Los Angeles Daily Journal.  He has been a Super Lawyer for Intellectual Property Litigation in Southern California for the past 12 years.  And he was born right here in beautiful Palm Springs, California.
