USPTO Women's Entrepreneurship Symposium

On March 3, 2020, AIPLA Executive Director Lisa K. Jorgenson helped kick off the 2020 Women's Entrepreneurship Symposium. She spoke on state of women in IP, remarking that there has been discernible progress in the number opportunities given to women in IP compared to when she began her career. However, she pointed out that there is still much work that must be done.

Lisa was joined by Laura Peter, Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the USPTO; Jessica Landacre, Executive Director at IPO; and Lisa Dunner, Managing Partner at Dunner Law, PLLC and Commissioner, ABA Commission on Women in the Profession.
