Arbitration of patent disputes. Over 20 years experience at the USPTO as an examiner in Tech Center 1600 and an Administrative Patent Judge. At the BPAI (now, PTAB), I rendered decisions in both ex parte and inter partes disputes involving biotechnology and the pharmaceutical arts. In private practice, I prosecute patents, counsel clients and do expert witnessing. More importantly, I have served as a panelist and chair for the American Arbitration Association since 2009.
