Nautilus v. Biosig Instruments:
Where Does the Definiteness Requirement Go From Here?
12:30 - 2:00 pm EDT

Course Description:
Unsure of what is required for a patent claim to survive an indefiniteness invalidity challenge?  Nautilus v. Biosig Instruments is the case many hoped would clean up the law.  Join us for a webinar that will break down the decision, analyze what the Supreme Court accepted and rejected, consider how the Court’s “reasonable certainty” standard will play out in practice, discuss open issues that may arise in future definiteness litigation, and explore best practices for drafting patent claims.

Discussions will be led by two patent law experts: J. Campbell Barker of  Yetter Coleman, LLP, who authored AIPLA’s AAmicus Brief; and Kristi Sawert of the Solicitors Office, US Patent and Trademark Office, co-counsel on the United States Amicus Brief.  Join us for a lively and interactive webinar!
