International and Foreign Law

The International and Foreign Law Committee (IFLC) considers the treaties of the United States and foreign countries and the statutes, rules, regulations, and judicial decisions of foreign countries relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights or intellectual property generally. The IFLC also considers the statutes, rules, regulations, and judicial decisions of the United States as they may impact intellectual property as a part of trade and commerce between the United States and nationals of foreign countries. A further role of the IFLC is to coordinate with other committees of the AIPLA on matters which are relevant to the jurisdiction of such committees.”
