AIPLA Survey: Notorious Markets AIPLA Survey: Notorious Markets  The United States Trade Representative released a request for public comment regarding its Special 301 Out-of-Cycle Review of Notorious Markets.  76 Fed. Reg. 184 (published September 22, 2011).  AIPLA would like information from members identifying internet and physical notorious markets that have been the subject of enforcement action or that may merit further investigation for possible intellectual property infringements.   The goal of the Notorious Markets List is to identify prominent examples of international markets in which pirated or counterfeit goods are available, so that the United States may encourage the responsible authorities to increase anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy efforts in these markets. Deadline to respond is October 14, 2011.  7 4 years ago
