How will the content change as a result of being a virtual event?

While the format of our meeting has changed, the quality of our substantive content has not.  Our Virtual Meeting has the same quality speakers, topics and informative sessions that you’ve come to expect from an AIPLA Spring Meeting.

An added benefit of a virtual meeting format is that it allows participants to attend all meeting sessions, not just certain tracks. PLUS, attendees get the on-demand recordings to watch again or watch later.

Why should I attend this virtual meeting?

That's easy! Let us count the ways:

Its AIPLA quality content in a convenient online format, plus
its an opportunity to stay connected in this time of social distancing, plus
you get access to ALL 20 CLE sessions for a great price (and without the cost of travel), or
you can purchase individual sessions of interest if you wish, and
you get the on-demand webinars and all session materials for all purchased sessions!

How do I attend this virtual meeting?

The AIPLA Virtual Spring Meeting is online, so all you will need is a computer and an internet connection. Our web platform is compatible with any Windows 7 or later computer, Android OS device, or Apple/iOS device.  We use the Adobe Connect platform for our CLE sessions and recommend using the Adobe Connect application for enhanced performance.

Networking with other users is a big reason I attend. How are you going to offer that benefit virtually?
The AIPLA Virtual Spring Meeting is full of ways to connect and interact with speakers, exhibitors and other attendees!  From speaker Q&A sessions, to virtual meet-ups & networking events, to online discussions and chats in our Event Community page, we are providing ways to maintain connections and build community during this time of social distancing.  Staying connected online is more important than ever and AIPLA is the place for IP professionals to come together.
How do I access my online sessions once purchased?
  • Session access instructions and reminders for each session will be sent via emails from "Online Programs" or cle@aipla.org so please check your spam filter if you do not receive them.
  • Purchased webinar sessions can also be accessed by signing in to our Online Learning Academy and scrolling to the "My Activity" box at the bottom of the home page.
How to I prove my attendance at sessions for CLE?
Each CLE session will have attendance prompts at intervals during the event as well as an attendance survey at the conclusion of the event to verify attendance.

How is this meeting different than a webinar?
The AIPLA Virtual Spring Meeting is a 10 day virtual event with 20 interactive CLE sessions and 10+ opportunities to connect with speakers and other attendees in virtual networking events.  This event is more than a series of webinars.  It is an opportunity for our IP community to come together to learn and network online.
