CLE Information

We are an approved provider by most states requiring CLE and have applied for credit for this meeting to all states requiring CLE.  Complete CLE information will be available on-site at the AIPLA CLE Information Booth located in the Exhibitor Area. The 2012 Annual Meeting has a total of 675* CLE minutes, including an optional 180 minutes of legal Ethics. Ethics credit will be available during the following sessions:

Friday, October 26

  • Morning Concurrent Track 2, 60 minutes 9:00 – 10:00 am: “The Benefits, Burdens, Alternatives and Ethics of Identifying and Enforcing Against Unknown Online Infringers”
  • Afternoon Concurrent Track 3, 90 minutes 2:00 – 3:30 pm: Ethical Considerations in Litigation
Saturday, October 27
  • Plenary Session, 30 minutes 11:30 am – 12:00 pm: “Ethics”
The 2012 Annual Meeting has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 11.25 hours, including an optional 3.0 hours of Ethics.
The above amount is the calculation for 60-minute hour states. The maximum credit hour calculation for 50-minute hour states is 13.5 hours [of which 3.6 hours will apply to Legal Ethics]. Credit amounts will vary depending upon each state’s calculation requirement.
*Please note that the 675 minute CLE calculation is for plenary sessions and concurrent tracks only and does not take into consideration any possible hours for Committee Educational Sessions.
