The 2014 Mid-Winter Institute has a total of 885 CLE minutes. Ethics and/or specialized/subfield CLE credit sessions are listed below. Credit amounts will vary by state, based upon each state's regulations and credit calculation.

The 2014 Mid-Winter Institute has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 14.75 hours; optional subfield credit hours include:
0.5 hours of Prevention, Detection and Treatment of Substance Abuse/Mental Illness that Impairs Professional Competence;
1.5 hours of Elimination of Bias in the Legal Profession; 
3.5 hours of Ethics.
The above amount is the calculation for 60-minute hour states.  The maximum credit hour calculation for 50-minute hour states is 17.7 hours (of which 4.2 hours will apply to Legal Ethics/Specialized CLE credits).  Credit amounts will vary by state, based upon each state’s regulations and credit calculation.
