2017 Partnering in Patents

Partnering in Patents is a one-day, CLE program offered as a pre-meeting event to the AIPLA Annual Meeting. 

Attendees will gain valuable insights into:

  • Trends in examiner rejections and applicant remarks, what works and what doesn't;
  • Significant court decision leading to trends in patent prosecution and proposed legislative fixes to patent subject matter holdings by the courts; and,
  • Patenting inventions in the fields of artificial inteligence and machine learning.

The Madison Building Auditorium is located on the Concourse Level in the center of the complex. Paid parking is available on the street, but it is limited. From the King Street Metro Station, the complex is a 5-10 minute walk. There are two parking garages: East Garage on 551 John Carlyle Street and West Garage on 550 Elizabeth Lane. The cost is $3 per hour and maximum of $10.
