2013 World IP Day Celebrations Will Take Place
in 7 Cities, 2 Countries and on Capitol Hill
World IP Day was launched in the year 2000 by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to promote and protect creative ideas, including music, art, trademarks, writings and inventions. Today, we are pleased to announce that AIPLA, working with local IP law associations, Chambers of Commerce, cities, and law schools, to celebrate World IP nationally, and internationally, in a grand fashion.
The theme of the World IP Day 2013 is Creativity–the Next Generation. The celebrations will include a brief video on intellectual property, speakers and a panel discussion where the public is welcome to ask questions. Each location has its own flair, and many events will feature an exhibition highlighting creative companies and organizations and their support of creativity and innovation in the next generation.
