Public Education Presentation Materials – Your Readymade Solution to Presenting on Intellectual Property Topics

September 27, 2012
12:30 - 1:30 PM Eastern

Today, more than ever, there is a need to educate the public on the Intellectual Property system due to the common misconceptions around the practice of Intellectual Property law.  Educating children and organizations about patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights will help reduce misinformation and stimulate interest in innovation.  If you would like to get in on this grassroots effort to defend our Intellectual Property system and share our specialized knowledge but don’t feel like you have time to prepare the presentation or even if you would just like a great starting point to use to talk at your children’s’ school, AIPLA’s Public Education Committee has the solution for you: Ready to go Intellectual Property presentations, including speaker notes!  We are your time saver.  Please join AIPLA’s Public Education Committee as we discuss the outstanding free resources available to each of you at www.creativityinbloom.org and even help provide ideas on setting up opportunities to use them.

Presenters: Sal Anastasi, Barley Snyder

We will be meeting on Thursday, October 25th between 3:30 and 4:30

Have you ever spent countless hours preparing an IP presentation for a school, a civic group, a science fair or any other public organization?  Would you offer to make more presentations if someone could help with the leg work?  The Public Education Committee has readymade presentation packets complete with speaker notes.  Join us for a rollout presentation featuring a number of IP public education packets that you can freely access for making presentations of patents, copyrights, trademarks and general IP topics.  During our committee meeting, we will highlight the packets, how to use them and where they can be accessed.  For further information about the packets please contact Elexis Jones (ejones@dfw.conleyrose.com) or Sal Anastasi (sanastasi@barley.com).
