Building A Strong Community

In response to demand for more interaction and stronger network among our biotech committee members, we are forming and building new or young subcommittees.  Volunteers are welcome to join by contacting the sub-chairs directly or posting comments on this message.

1.      The Academia & Research Institutions Subcommittee (Mark Bloom, Sub-Chair) will serve as a resource, educational forum and advocate for Biotech Committee members who are employed by or provide advice/counsel to non-profit academic or research institutions.
2.      The proposed mission statement for the newly-forming Corporate Practice subcommittee (James J. Kelley , Sub-Chair) is to meet, connect, advocate, collaborate, learn, teach, and enjoy.
3.      The International Subcommittee (David Read and Trevor Davies, Co-Sub-Chairs) will provide members with a global view, covering recent patent developments and providing essential practical advice from practitioners from around the globe working in biotechnology.
4.      The Regional/Social Subcommittee (Ling Zhong, Sub-Chair) is aimed to provide more opportunities for our members to network and have fun in local regions.
