AIPLA continues to provide a strong collective voice in the Courts, in Congress, with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and other domestic and international organizations.

Several AIPLA Committees are working on the Association's legislative agenda and considering a spectrum of issues needing legislative reform.  To facilitate this activity, the Board has adopted a procedure whereby substantive law committees make review of, and regularly report to the Board on, potential legislative initiatives.​​​
