Houston, TX. Attorneys who would like to learn more about the current state of US patent law and practice have a new way to stay on the cutting edge. This program is especially important for patent attorneys and patent agents who actively practice in the chemical and related arts. The 2017 Chemical Practice Road Show, in Downtown Houston on February 24, 2017 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, has targeted sessions, highlighting the best strategies to maximize your scope of patent protection and minimize challenges to the validity and enforceability of patents in the chemical and related arts.

Specific topics to be addressed include client counseling, making a strategic portfolio and business decisions, and coping with changes in patent law under the America Invents Act. This daylong meeting will feature 450 CLE minutes, including 60 minutes of ethics CLE. A continental breakfast and luncheon will be provided to all attendees. The event will take place in Downtown Houston at The Marriott Marquis Houston. This new hotel is a spectacular addition to the scenic Houston skyline, and captures the bold spirit of Texas while embracing the best of Southern hospitality.
