 This Committee will study the emergence of genetic resources, traditional knowledge, and folklore as significant issues in relation to the development of intellectual property laws and standards, investigate recent developments both in the U.S. and internationally with regard to legal mechanisms and tools that are proposed to address these issues, and advise the Board as to positions that may be taken concerning related proposed laws and international instruments. |
