The American Intellectual Property Law Education Foundation (AIPLEF)
AIPLA is proud to be one of the original sponsoring organizations for AIPLEF, along with the ABA, Minority Corporate Counsel Association, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Woodcock & Washburn and Fish & Richardson.
The AIPLEF was founded in order to find ways to increase the diversity of the intellectual property bar. As a major part in fulfilling its mission, it has established The Sidney B. Williams Jr. Intellectual Property Law Scholarships. In addition to providing financial support during law school, these scholarships will also bring minority law school students to the attention of firms and corporations as candidates for internships, mentoring and full time employment.
