2007 Report of the Economic Survey has been published

Released every other year, the AIPLA Report of the Economic Survey is the most comprehensive and reliable review of incomes and demographics of intellectual property law attorneys and associated practitioners.  It examines billing rates and charges across a variety of significant characteristics and is the foremost guide to current financial trends among your colleagues and in the workplace.  The Report provides detailed information on income, billing rates, and typical charges by IP practitioners, as well as types of practice, age of practitioners, years of experience by job type, and bar membership, as well as technical education and specialization.

The Report features narrative descriptions that make survey findings easy to identify, along with helpful tables and charts that graphically illustrate them.  This unique volume sells to non-AIPLA members for $300.  AIPLA Members may purchase additional copies of the Report for $35. For ordering information please contact AIPLA headquarters.

Members can view the 2007 Report online. Click here to view.

The 2007 Report was mailed to the entire membership in August 2007.  New members receive their copy in their new member welcome package.

Work on the 2009 Report will begin at the end of December 2008.  Keep an eye out for the questionairre in January 2009!
