Cognistar Multi-Media Recorded CLE Programming
Since 2003, AIPLA has worked with CognistarTM to provide web-based Continuing Legal Education on the Internet. AIPLA members pay just $89 per course, a $30 savings over non-member online CLE prices. Plus, members of AIPLA receive a 30% discount on an annual subscription to all the Cognistar online courses—Intellectual Property as well as other areas of practice. An annual subscription is now $485, a $210 savings only for AIPLA members over the non-member price. Most programs are accredited for CLE in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, New Hampshire, New York, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, England, and Wales.
On July 11, 2008 we released two new courses:
Course # 2810 Antitrust and Non-Antitrust Issues Related to Licensing
Course # 2820 Trademark and Copyright Fair Use
These courses have been approved for CLE credit in 10 jurisdictions
With these programs added, AIPLA now offers 25 courses in the Cognistar catalog. These programs are not only interactive with streaming video, audio, and text delivery, they also include links to relevant cases, statutes, and other referential information. A personal printable certificate is immediately available upon completion of each course.
