Camp Invention
AIPLA is proud to be a continued supporter of Camp Invention®, a national, inquiry-based enrichment program for students, grades 2-6.
Now in its 17th year, Camp Invention features a hands-on integrated curriculum combining science, math, history and the arts taught by local teachers right in their own elementary schools. Over 150,000 students have experienced the various offerings within the week-long program, such as "I Can Invent", "C.A.M.P. (Chemically AMazing Products)", "Potion Notions", "Marbleous Inventions" and "Dig It: Ancient Inventors" - all designed to create a new generation of inventors, innovators and explorers.
Camp Invention is widely praised throughout the educational community as a valuable supplement to traditional classroom activities. For teachers, the program provides a unique professional training environment not available through traditional workshops. For campers, a week at camp enhances their innate creative and inventive skills, promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Camp Invention is a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame®, the world's leading organization that recognizes, honors and encourages invention and creativity.
